C'est trop compliqué? On peut résumer ainsi:
- phrases affirmatives:
some - phrases négatives:
any - phrases interrogatives:
some ou any selon le contexte.

Some et anyont le même sens:
une certaine quantité. Ils se traduisent souvent par "de, du, de la, des"... Mais ils ne s'emploient pas
de la même manière.
SOME / ANY
Pour évoquer l'existence de quelque chose, on emploie some .
There is some mail for you on the table.
Il y a du courrier pour toi sur la table.
Pour évoquer l'absence de quelque chose, on emploie any .
There isn't any mail for you today. / He came back home without any money.
Il n'y a pas de courrier pour toi aujourd'hui. / Il est rentré sans aucun argent.
Dans les questions, on emploie some lorsque celui qui parle sait que l'objet existe:
Would you like some coffee?
Veux-tu du café? (on sait qu'il y en a)
Et on emploie any quand on veut savoir s'il y en a
Is there any coffee for me?
Y-a-t-il du café pour moi?
NO
On peut employer no à la place de not any. Dans ce cas, le verbe reste à la forme affirmative.
There are no eggs in the fridge (= there aren't any eggs) and there is no coffee on the table.
Il n'y a pas d'oeufs dans le frigidaire et pas de café sur la table.
ET LES COMPOSES...
Someone / anyone / no one
Someone is ringing at the door. Quelqu'un sonne à la porte.
On sait qu'il y a quelqu'un.
Is anyone in there? Y-a-t-il quelqu'un là-dedans?
On ne sait pas s'il y a quelqu'un.
I couldn't see anyone in the dark. Je ne pouvais voir personne dans le noir.
I could see no one in the dark. (même sens).
*On peut remplacer "someone, anyone" et "no one" par somebody, anybody, nobody
Somebody is ringing at the door.
Something / anything / nothing
Something strange has happened. Quelque chose d'étrange s'est produit.
Has anything happened? / Nothing has happened..
Somewhere / anywhere / nowhere
I can't find my purse anywhere. Je ne trouve mon porte-monnaie nulle part.
It must be somewhere in the house. Il doit être quelque part dans la maison..
